Into the mind of Jeff Sheldon, founder of Ugmonk

Jeff Sheldon (whose name has been synonymous with his brand, Ugmonk, since around 2008) makes simple, functional and beautiful products of all kinds. Like mymind, his original product came from a need – at the time, he was searching for minimal, well-made t-shirts and couldn't find them online. So he made them himself.

A self-proclaimed designer and "entrepreneur by accident," his design philosophy also resonates with our approach at mymind.  "I take a slow and thoughtful approach to nearly everything in life, remembering that more isn’t always better," says Sheldon on his website. "...I want to design and breathe life into products that last a lifetime and then some."

We've been following Ugmonk's work since the beginning, so we were curious to know what's on his mind these days.
