New upgrades to your mind

I just ran up from the Mind Lab to share a few things we've been working on for you. Here's what's live:

Create new notes via Mind Links

✦ You can now create a new note directly via the Mind Link feature inside a note.

✦ Just type [[ and if the note title doesn't exist yet, you'll see an option to add one.

We hope this makes it easier for you to keep building your knowledge trees.

Support for Substack notes (in beta)

✦ Save a Substack Note with a click via our browser extension or mobile app, and it shows up as a special card inside your mind.

✦ You'll have your own private copy, which stays in your mind even if the original gets deleted.

✦ Did you see we're on Substack now, btw? We're publishing essays there we don't share anywhere else, so be sure to follow (:

Support for TED talks

✦ TED Talk saves are now classified with a special card type and grouped together automatically.

✦ Videos are embedded inside mymind so you can watch them right in there and take notes inline.

✦ Automatic TLDR and additional contextual tags are generated for easier recall and indexing.

Improved article detection

✦ If you save a URL that happens to be an article, it's now more likely to be classified correctly – meaning more articles will show up beautifully in Reading Mode.

✦ We're continually working on this so it will keep getting better in the future (lots of edge cases to solve for).

That's all for now! Heading back down to the labs until next week.
